In this 2004 conversation, film scholars Freddy Buache and Dominique Païni discuss the impact and insight of MASCULIN FÉMININ, Jean-Luc Godard’s playfully subversive film. Buache, founder of the Cinémathèque suisse, was the “recipient” of Godard’s 1981 short film LETTRE À FREDDY BUACHE. Païni was a director of the Cinémathèque française, in Paris.
