Tatsuya Nakadai has acted for some of Japan’s greatest directors, including Masaki Kobayashi, Akira Kurosawa, Hiroshi Teshigahara, and Mikio Naruse, and revealed an impressive range, playing everything from samurai to the bar manager Kenichi Komatsu in WHEN A WOMAN ASCENDS THE STAIRS.
