Prominently bearded, resolutely old-fashioned kendo champion Okajima (Tokihiko Okada) struggles to find a job thanks to his peculiar, conservative ways, which inevitably alienate his more progressive peers. Can a total makeover courtesy of the titular lady (Hiroko Kawasaki) he has rescued from a mugging turn things around for him?
